Professional — Personal — Experienced

• I do not tutor via email or over the phone. I work personally, side-by-side with my students. In most cases I come to the student’s home. In some cases I meet at the student’s school library or at my home in Chicago.
   
• My math tutoring is almost always conducted one-on-one. In special cases I will work with two or three students together, but only if they are in the same class or using the same book.
   
• Several years of experience working with students from 6th grade through college. I have developed the ability to anticipate and identify what specific problems a math student is having, even when the student is having trouble articulating what is confusing him/her.
   
• Home-schoolers often have problems teaching their children math, especially the more advanced topics. My math teaching experience can be of great help to home schooling parents.

SAT  and  ACT  test  preparation

• Having scored a perfect 800 in the SAT math test, I know what it takes to do well on that test.
   
• I have extensive experience preparing students for the SAT and ACT; also for the math sections of the GMAT, GRE and other standardized tests.
